Attorney Daniel DeKoter is a partner at DeKoter, Thole, Dawson & Rockman, PLC, a law firm based in Sibley, Iowa. He is an alumnus of Calvin College, graduating in 1977 with a degree in Philosophy and English. In 1980, he graduated with high distinction, earning his Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa. His general practice emphasizes civil litigation, business and employment law, and estate planning and administration. 

His many years as an attorney has had him represent clients throughout Lyon, O’Brien, Sioux, Dickinson, and Osceola counties in Iowa, and Jackson and Nobles in Minnesota. Attorney Daniel DeKoter is a member of the Village Northwest Unlimited Board and has served Sibley Library Board, Sibley Kiwanis, Northwest Iowa Humane Society, and Iowa State Bar Association Legal Forms Committee. 

Daniel DeKoter was raised in Maurice and Orange City and graduated in MOC High School in 1973. He lives in Dickinson, Iowa, with his two children.
