Daniel DeKoter is a lawyer and partner at DeKoter, Thole, Dawson & Rockman, PLC. In 1977, He graduated from Calvin College with a degree in Philosophy and English and went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa in 1980. His general practice is concerned with civil litigation, including personal injury, insurance defense, and business disputes; estate planning and administration, and employment and business law. 

Today, Attorney Daniel DeKoter serves the Village Northwest Unlimited Board. In the past, he held membership in the Sibley Library Board, Sibley Kiwanis, Iowa State Bar Association Legal Forms Committee, and Northwest Iowa Humane Society, and several church boards. He has represented clients throughout the Sioux, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, and Dickinson counties in Iowa. 

Daniel DeKoter is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a group that is exclusive for lawyers who have secured multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements. He currently lives in Dickinson, Iowa, with his two children.
